Can my 1gb HD 7850 handle bf4 at med at 21:9 res?

Edit: come on people I mean 2560 * 1080

21:9 is an aspect ratio, not a resolution.

yes you can, 21;9 is only 189 pixels so it should be fine.

seriously yeah you should be fine bf4 doesnt strain my 7850, i havent benchmarked it and im having trouble reinstalling it but from memroy i got AROUND 50fps on ultra on the beach benchmark at 1080p but high would of been better.

assuming were talking 2x1080p medium should be good for around 40, seriously the only difference between medium and high is blood splatters on your retarded teammates and the odd "blurry" effects when running through action. not a huge deal.

oh and youll need a 2gb card i havent checked vram usage but arma 3 on ultra uses 1.4gb and battlefield is allot lighter so you'll prob use around 1.9 on high.

i dont like 21;9 but it could be a good move, very few games make full use of my 7850 its the only annoying thing about it, i tend to crank the settings up to give it something to do!

edit; found some old benchmarks i ran, assuming 2x1080p just half the fps and double the vram usage.

Well the res is likely 2560x1080 so no 1gb will be gone in no time plus you probably wont get good frames unless a get a 770 or of similar performance.

It's more like 1.5 * 1080p. And unfortunately my card is 1gb. So it looks like I can't. I currently play bf4 with my 1gb card at 1080p high 70 fps avg

buttery smooth eh? ;) I'd imagine it wouldnt be a problem so long as you kept the texture details low enough but yeah defies the point i know. r9-270 could be the way to go effectively 2x 2gb7770's in crossfire/half an r9-290.

Not really sur ewhat the bolded part means. ill just wait till next gen gpu, get one, and then get new monitor, higher res
