My first Budget Build

Go to solution Solved by curiousmind34,

I would get the 11400 (non-f) as it has integrated graphics which are more powerful than a gt 710

For storage, I believe you forgot an SSD, which are used in almost every modern gaming rig. this SN550 should fit your needs.

The warning is basically saying that the m.2 slot, where the SSD linked above is plugged in, requires an 11th gen intel CPU. You can tell if it is 11th gen by seeing if the first two numbers of the name are 11.

The other warning is just saying that pcpartpicker cannot check if a graphics card/cpu cooler physically cannot fit in the case because it is too big, but I will assure you that you are fine.

The best budget case imo is the focus g https://pcpartpicker.com/product/ZHmxFT/fractal-design-focus-g-black-atx-mid-tower-case-fd-ca-focus-bk-w

32 gigabytes of ram are overkill for your system, consider just getting a 16gb kit: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/qGqbt6/gskill-memory-f43200c16d16gvgb

Finally, your power supply is not the best. I would opt for a better quality cxm 550 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/3hkwrH/corsair-power-supply-cp9020102na

I am new to Gaming PCs. I have wanted to build one for quite some time, but never knew if I could. I have set together a list of parts to build a PC, and I would like to bring the price down. This is just an attempt at making a budget build. I also don't understand what the notes mean at the bottom.

Before anyone criticizes me, I really don't want a Gt 710, but I am using it as an example.

  • Note:The motherboard M.2 slot #1 requires an Intel Rocket Lake-based CPU. When an Intel Rocket Lake-based CPU is not used, the M.2 slot is disabled.
  •  Note:Some physical dimension restrictions cannot (yet) be automatically checked, such as cpu cooler / RAM clearance with modules using tall heat spreaders.

The notes don't make sense to me, and I was wondering if anyone could help me with these problems. Thanks in advance!

Welcome in the Form!

well first you don't need a 32gig of ram 16gig is just enough for almost everything unless you wanna go with something like adobe and stuff and for the notes u were asking abt the first one mean you gotta use intel 10gen cpu in order to active the m.2 slot just never mind it ,the second one mean the dimensions between the cpu cooler and the ram could be close or it might not fit
