Bad internet

Soo I have a good wifi plan which give 25 Mbps unlimited. The problem is I don't get that until my room. I have a tp link router name TL-WR840N. Idk if it's a good router or not. Pls suggest how to improve and soo I have good WiFi for gaming and other stuff

-wifi signal can't get through infinite objects without getting weaker, try to solve that hanging your router on the wall (higher you can) or removing objects in the line from modem to your room

also prevent your devices to jump from one connection to another and lose connection for a few seconds.

5GHz can still be beneficial with relatively low internet speeds. I use 5GHz whenever possible at home, and that covers most of my house. I only use 2.4GHz for dedicated devices or at long distances from either of my APs.

More bandwidth for local connections (to a NAS, for example) is one of the big advantages in that situation. Also, I've personally found that 5GHz (within reasonable range) is just more stable than 2.4GHz.

5ghz is worse than 2.4 when it has to go through walls and whatnot, the situation would get worse with 5ghz instead of 2.4.

Not if there aren't too many walls in the way. My main AP is in one corner of the house, and I still get ~70-100Mb/s down on 5GHz at the opposite corner of the house on a lower floor. There are several walls in the way, and it works fine.

If OP can't attain 25mbps speeds with their current setup it suggests their router is too far from the device, as any modern hardware should be more than capable of that under good conditions.

And if that is the case, switching to 5GHz would surely be detrimental.
