FSR on 6000 series cards

Izonedout

I’ve been looking for awhile and can’t find a solid answer. Is FSR going to be released as a software or is it only going to be the next generation after the 6000. I have a 6800xt and am curious if I’m SOL.

If it's getting added to RDNA 2 GPUs including Xbox and PS5, I'd assume it'll be in a driver update.

What is FSR?
Google was not helpful in this case.

Fidelity Super Resolution. AMD's DLSS that's in the works.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Ah. Last I heard of it was FidelityFX.

OP, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.

I’m hoping that is the case. I’d love to see what type of comparison it would have to diss or if it will be a flop.

Yeah, it is technically “FidelityFX Super Resolution” so both are correct

It's part of AMD's FidelityFX suite, but the specific feature is called Super Resolution.
