Rtx 3090 or 3080

Is the rtx 3090 worth it or should i get a 3080

3090 is not worth the money for 99% use cases. its for all intents and purposes, a Titan class card meant more for workstation use. yes its a "gaming" card too, but its only about 15% faster than a 3080 with a significant price jump.. well, when MSRP is taken into consideration.

 

The 3080 is the better card for the $$$ when found at the right price.. which is not the market we live in today.

Should  I get an 3080 then posted my build its gonna be used mainly for gaming.

Rtx 3090 Is only 15%-22% better performance than the Rtx 3080 and the msrp is double the price of the rtx 3080. (Rtx 3080 cost $699 while Rtx 3090 cost $1500)
