Hello guys, I am currently saving up for a pc and was wondering which processor to choose. I had settled on the Ryzen 7 3700x as it appeared to be the best bang for the buck with 8 cores and gaming performance, however, after looking at the newly released Intel core i5 11600k, it seemed to be way better value for money. In userbenchmark it is 24% better than the 3700x and is slightly cheaper too although only having 6 cores. To round it all off I was wondering if any of you could help me decide which one to go for, or any other cpu's with great value for money.

Thanks

Userbenchmark is extremely unreliable and heavily Intel-biased.

Ignore anything that it said.

Anyway, I'd go with the 5800X if you can, or the 3700X if you can't. 8 cores, 16 threads, nice performance.

PLEASE STOP [Killing] ME I WILL GIVE Y OU ANOTHER DEAL.

better comparison would be:
3700x vs. 11700f
5600x vs. 11600k

There are two 8 core cpus with lower single core performance and two 6 core cpus with higher single core performance

If you're in the USA, the 10600KF and 10700KF are better deals than the 3600/3700x. Since you're gaming focused, the Intel chips are faster as well.

If you want maximum performance, the Ryzen 5 5600x and Ryzen 9 5900x are good options; the Ryzen 7 5800x isn't a good price/performer.
