Due to gpu prices right now I would focus on upgrading a cpu, but with no budget listed I can't exactly give a clear recommendation. Look at the 5600X and the 10400(F)/11400(F) and 10600K and 11600K

Big nerd.

In reality im hoping to spend anywhere from 300-500, maybe more. i dont have a great source of income but if i need to save to get the better hardware im willing to do so

Hold on to that GPU, you won't find a worthy upgrade right now (without shelling a ton of cash).

For the CPU, you can upgrade to 7700k.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

Decent budget, if you want to spend $300 go with an 11400, decent aftermarket cooler, and a new board, for $500 you could get a 5600x and a decent board and cooler

Ah, sorry about that. So then you'd have to spend more for the 5600X, but the 11400 or 11600K is a great option too.

What about a 10400f, those cost $120 in my country, and if it’s more expensive in yours, find a used one, as they have good bang for buck and being quite futureproof too.

10400f is a good option, however in my country the 11400 is only 30 USD more expensive so that is worth it

if anybody whos been on this post sees this, i have seen that apparently the 10400 and the 11400 are incompatable to my setup according to PCPartPicker

I also realised i put in the wrong motherboard on the parts, i have the asrock fata1ty b150 gaming k4 instead of the plain asrock b1150 gaming k4
