(help!) F@H config.xml resets itself when i start the client

Alright, so i'm running into trouble with my Ubuntu F@H server.

The main thing is that the stock F@H config.xml file doesn't contain the value <gpu v='true'/>. This value is needed for the client to actually see the GPU's in my system.

Everytime i try to add the value tho, it disappears right when i start the F@H client.

I try editing the xml with nano (sudo nano /etc/fahclient/config.xml)

everytime i safe the new config nano says "(x)lines written", and when i open the config again the new lines are there. But everytime i open F@H the config resets.

help please, pretty please?

i'm not sure what actually fixed it, but i clean installed everything from Nvidia and it seems to pick up fine now.

I wish i had a better answer for anyone in the future with the same problem but welp.
