What size SSD should I get?

I am looking to buy a SSD to put my OS on and my Steam library on. I am running Windows 7 Enterprise and for Steam I have 13 games installed with 28 games in my library. I believe a 128GB SSD would be sufficient enough?

240gb, the m500 ssd on pcpartpicker is like $110

Even if they are 7GB on average x13 + OS it would be cutting it really close with a 128GB SSD. And there isn't really much chance to average out 7GB with newer games.

 

I'd say definitely 240/250/256.

Installed games are about 66 GB, but I only have 13 games installed.

I would still end up getting at least a 240 gig ssd, never know when you're going to need more space.

Just get a 480 gb and be done with it!

like a 32 for the os and a 512 for your rest and in honesty you dont need to put movies on a ssd a hdd or a sshd would be fine

I own a 120 GB SSD. It's sufficient and nothing else. I use junctions and Steam Mover to play my games to save space, and I still wish I had more. It's your primary drive; the less you visit your hard drive, the better.

 

240-258 GB is a much better choice. If you actually decide you want 500-512, I would recommend just sucking it up and buying a 1 TB.
