well, the 10900k beats the top end 11900k in almost all tests both productivity and gaming.. so get yourself a 10900k instead.

you would think he's joking, but he isnt. the extra cores really help the 10900k to perform better. its better in practically every single test and uses the same amount of power.

btw, why do you need the igpu? unless you really, *REALLY* need the iGPU, ryzen is better

GN Steve has many, many charts showing why even a 3900X is better than a 10900k right now.

Quite frankly, it would make more sense to get a 5900X or 3900X and toss a lower end used GPU in it until preferred GPU's come available.

why not get a super cheap discrete gpu instead? you can get a much better cpu that way and use that money you save towards something like a 1050ti (which you can get for like $80 ish.

Jesus, where are you finding 1050tis for less than like 200-250?

11th gen is not worth it on the high end, it's basically beaten by 5800x and 10900k, and massively outperformed by 5900x, which is suppose to be it's price class.

6 cores 11th gen is good, if you look at it you're paying almost double for 2 extra cores for 11900k.

Used market, it's the most logical way to source GPU right now.

1050ti aint worth more than $150 (it's original price).

If you simply want to edit videos, you really don't need a gpu, you can render it with only cpu, and use the integrated gpu for display task.
