i would like to ask kind of a stupid question cause i'm still new to this , Now , let's say i do not want to build a mining rig up to 4 GPUs , if i get a 4PCie Slots Mobo like  Gigabyte TRX40 AORUS , if i plug the 4gpus ( without SLI for sure ) would it mine perfectly , or this idea does not work even ? cause i can be leaving the country i am in in 3years , so i need a Computer so that i can take it with me later , not a mining rig...

It would probably work, even if heat dissipation can be a issue, just like power draw.
Be prepared to lose money, cause that’s most likely to happen, especially if you have to buy the gpus.

true , but i'm willing to have a big case with good fans etc for this reason , i'm just not sure if it would be a good thing to do , cause the 4pcie slots mobo are kind of expensive , so i do not want to throw money just like that ..

You could probably find some old socket AM2+ / AM3  with support for SLI  (meaning you have 2 pci-e x8 slots)  and you can combine those with some old FX series cpu and a stick of DDR3

2 mobo+cpu+ram may be cheaper than motherboard with 4 pci-e x8 slots.

But like others said, if you plan on buying 4 video cards at the current prices, it wouldn't be worth it.

i guess you'd want to mine eth. i would wait for july, since EIP-1559 is scheduled to hit around that time.

It aims to sort out high transaction fees, and since the fees go to miners, rewards are around or more than 2ETH above the 2ETH/block base reward. So in my understanding if they cut high transaction fees, rewards/block can get down to about 50%. If the price doesnt follow, it will be less likely to be worth.

You need pci-e x8 or pci-e x16 ELECTRICALLY slots.

With nVidia cards it also seems you need to have at least one monitor connected to each card (hence why you need those $10-ish a piece fake hdmi monitor dongles)

You wouldn’t necessarily need those slots, bandwidth doesn’t seem to be a big deal. Remember the boards with like 18 x1 slots?

The dongle is only a thing for the „unhackable“ cards.
