RX 6800’s get released tomorrow! Where do you buy them?
FRSHPRNCFBLR replied to Action_Johnson's topic in Graphics Cards
I’d recommend waiting for independent benchmarks to go live before buying. But...chances are that they will be sold out before said benchmarks go live. -
Have you tried the card in a different slot?

Some games or tasks reserve vram which is then reported as in use, but not actually used. If you run out of vram, you will notice. I run 1440p ultrawide on 6gb and it’s fine so I guess you should be good.

No post, tried everything I could think of

Now, before we take things apart. Does your motherboard come with diagnostic leds? It might be worth a shot to see what they display to narrow down the issue. -
You know the product announcement hit hard since people are very quick at trying to sell even the most fancy special / limited editions. The cheaper ones go for 3070 prices. Most still try to get at least 3090 prices or higher, but you still see people bid higher than 3070 pricing for some reason.

Didn't check, but you can try Mauser. They sell all kinds of actuators, sensors, etc.

Huawei Confirms Mate 30 Pro Won't Come With Google Apps
FRSHPRNCFBLR replied to sowon's topic in Tech News
To quote the headline of an article showcasing the Mate 30 Pro: "The best phone you won't buy." Unless they can get the major apps, including the Google ones, to work out of the box for consumers, they will struggle to sell their products. Especially when they want service providers to keep bundling them with their contracts. -

What's your current fan setup? Maybe share a picture. How much of a difference does ramping up the case fans make? -

If you feel comfortable with soldering on a new bios chip, maybe something like this will save your board. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F382797166432
