Windows 8.1 Pro for Students

Hi,

Has anyone tried installing this Windows 8.1 Pro for Students, from http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/Windows-8.1-Pro-for-Students/productID.288769600 on their new system?
I guess my question really is, Is this a full version which I can download and put on a USB, to perform an install on a new computer? Or do I really need an existing Windows 7 as Microsoft has stated, "Important: Windows 8.1 Pro full version is for Windows 7 users only. "

I've read on some forums that all Windows 8.1 Operating Systems are full Version.

Works fine.. and YES you CAN install on a new rig!

I bought this for a new PC I built today, and it works as expected. It is windows 8, so its not all that great. However If you download startisback, it'll make this feel like a faster windows 7. All in all i'd say its a pretty decent product at this price.
