Strix RX470 4GB

Hi Magnificent people,

 

I find myself seeking your counsel.

 

So i have a strix RX470 which I'm struggling to find out why I'm having such issues with the fan speeds. Its running at 30% idle, which is fine but as soon as i get 3 minutes or so into warzone, the fans are stopping and its shutting my system down .

 

I've tried setting a manual fan curve on gpu tweak, but this isnt working. 

 

Im running the following - 

 

R5 1600, RX470, Strix X470-F, 16gb Corsair vengeance LED @ 3000mhz, powered by a supernova 650 g3. Warzone runs form a mec HDD but i boot from NVME.

 

Any ideas?

Did you check power and PCIe slot connections?

Gateway VX920 CRT: 1600x1200@75Hz, 1200x900@100Hz, 960x720@125Hz, 800x600@140Hz
Gateway VX900 CRT: 1600x1200@75Hz, 1200x900@100Hz, 960x720@120Hz (Can be pushed to 175Hz)
 
Keyboard: Thermaltake eSPORTS MEKA PRO with Cherry MX Red switches
