Which CPU???

Hey Guys, I currently have 

 

i9 9900k

3090

32Gb 3600mhz ram

Asus prime z390

 

My friend wants to upgrade his PC and actually take my CPU/MB combo right now as I want to upgrade as well. I am stuck between AMD vs Intel. I was between the 5900x, 5950x, 10900k or the new 11900k coming out tomorrow. I mainly game on it and do occasional streams. Anyone have any tips or suggestion for the CPU to pair with my 3090?

5900X if you can make a blood sacrifice to actually buy it, 11900k if you aren't willing to do that and have enough cooling to keep it under control. If all you do is gaming you're best bet is probably a 5800X, as it has very similar clocks to the 5900X and 5950X, yet 4 fewer cores that never get used. Plus you can actually buy it.

Yes i know getting a 5900x will be hard right now and I'm sure 11900k will sell out before I blink lol, For cooling i have 9 corsair fans in O11 dynamic and ASUS ROG LC 360 CPU cooler. That should be enough for cooling? Also, i do stream as well sometimes. i PLay games like COD, valorant, CSGO, etc... also at 1440p

I wouldn't be too sure about the 11900k. At least it will end up in stock relatively soon. 5900Xs are rarer than 3080s, at least according to the Micro Center staff near me (they haven't gotten one in almost a month). the 11900k will perform very similar to the 5800X since they are core for core equivalents, and that chip you can actually get, and it's not really an inferno. For streaming, a 5800X should be fine, though I get wanting the extra cores of a 5900X just to be safe. As for cooling, at least with what the 11700K was, a 360mm rad will be enough, but barely.
