Hello !

So today I received my new SSD and installed it perfectly in it's place. I then took the day to reinstall the OS on the SSD and my games / softwares. After that I played GTA 5 and it was running well for 20 minutes, but after the PC rebooted on it's own, and since this happened, the PC just restarts if I try to play GTA. I had some problems in the past with my PC but it was running good for 6 months without any sort of problem.

I reinstalled the OS (W10 Home Edition) on the SSD in his proper part and it was all good. I don't think the problem is the SSD because I diagnosed it when I received it and it wasn't showing any type of error, the disk health was showing 100%.

I also don't think that there is a problem with the temps which are good (40-45 in idle and 75-80 on load for the CPU, and about the same thing for the case temp).

The specs :
- CPU : Ryzen 3 3100
- GPU : GTX 780Ti
- PSU : Corsair CX 650W
- MB : Asus TUF B450 Gaming Plus
- RAM : 2x Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz
- Rad : Be Quiet Pure Rock
- 2x HDD : 1To Seagate 7200rpm / 2To Western Digital 7200rpm
- SSD : SanDisk SSD Plus 480Go
- Fans : 3x BeQuiet 120 + 2x CoolerMaster 120 case fans

The CPU, MB, RAM and rad are 6 months old, the PSU is 3 or 4 years old, the SSD is fresh new, and the HDD's + the GPU was donated to me by a friend so I don't know, but I would say 6 or 7 years old.

I read online that the most suspect component would be the PSU and I tend to agree with this idea, but I'm little low on budget so I want to be sure about the problem. I can also consider the problem is the GPU and that's the thing I would not want.

Or could it just be a problem with my OS that I not installed properly ? (even if I know how to install Windows, I did it about 20 or 30 times) I honestly don't think it's that but at this point I don't have any idea...

I really don't know what's the problem and I'm a little afraid.

If you have any thoughts, I hear you. Thanks in advance for your help !

PS : If you need some screenshot, temperatures etc..., let me know and I'll try to provide it as quickly as possible.

A 780ti is not a brand new card.  I don’t know what it’s power requirements are but I doubt more than a 650w PSU is needed.  Have you done any memory testing? Before a few years ago memory was a more common cause of crash after boot than PSU.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Just did a MemTest64 as I forgot to do it the first time, for 20 minutes, and I don't have any error given.

Also, note that I runned several benchmarks and stress tests, like AIDA64 or OCCT, and both of them are giving me good frequencies, good temperatures (the max isn't going over 75°C for the CPU and 80°C for the GPU) and also good voltages (12V, 4.9V and 3.33V), and the PC isn't rebooting at all !!

Tried to run GTA, I monitored the temperatures, frequencies and voltages, and these are all good while in game.

I was planning to change the graphics card but again, low on budget, so I keep waiting for the moment.
