I love my G502s and I f*cking HATE(!!!) my G502s.  I can't count the number of them that I've had fail given the double-click issue.  And it's always the right mouse button, too.  Never the left one.  I've had the same happen on their wireless 900-series as well.  It's just something with the switches Logitech insists on using.  They're trash, which is too bad because otherwise their mice are the best of the best.

Nothing to be done except replace the mouse or replace the switches (which requires soldering). All mice using Omron switches (which is basically all major brand gaming mice except for the few that use optical switches) are susceptible to this issue but for whatever reason it seems especially common on the G502. Honestly 4+ years before it happens is really good.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Again, ALL mice using Omron switches are potentially susceptible, and virtually all gaming mice use Omron switches.

You could look at mice that use optical switches instead (like the Roccat Burst or some versions of the Razer Viper and Basilisk), as optical switch mice seem to develop the issue much less although I couldn't say with certainty they're 100% immune. You could also look at some of Asus's mice, as they use a "socketed" switch system which allows you to replace switches without soldering if one develops a fault.
