I was just wondering if the fans is setup correctly in this build. Obviously the rear fan is exhaust fan. The 3 in front is intake aswell as the CPU AIO, but the 2 side fans is also axhaust fans? Is it suposed to be like this?

Intake: Front, side
Exhaust: Rear, AIO

having your side fans as exhaust is a waste, now the air pulled in from the front is just exhausted right away, without cooling a single component.

The front intake fans are there to travel cold air to the CPU and/or GPU in order to cool them off, but the exhaust fans at the side pushes the cold air away before it can even travel there.

 

So if you think logically, the front fans are pointless at that point.

But can I use the AIO as exhaust? Wont that heat up my cpu?

Not in a meaningful way. You can keep the AIO as intake, but make sure you have dust filter there. For now, the important thing is to disconnect or remove side fans. The slots for them are there for complete water cooling setups.

AIO as exhaust can increase cpu temps from 1-6c
