Hello everyone. Recently my teacher gave us a lesson on autocad and I'm also new to this program. He gave us a homework to make this rectangle thing.

He told us to sends it to him as a pdf file. But when I opened the file the shape is way too small. Is there a way to make the shape fit to the paper?

Look at your printer options. There should be option for center on visible objects or manually draw the area you want to print.

* Don't have AutoCAD, but thats how it works in all other such software like MicroStation. Or if it doesn't have simple options, then there probably is separated print manager (looking at you, ArcGIS, QGIS and MapInfo).

Open the Plot command,

Then check what to plot, change that to Window (it will automatically close the window and allow you to select the "area of effect" so select what do you want to publish in PDF)

In the paper size select requested size, i don't know what is the size of your square but i usually use A3 or A4 paper

in the printer plotter choose DWG to PDF

If you want to have you object in the middle of the page select Center the plot in the lower end of the window,

After you click OK it will ask you where do you want to place it on your PC.

As I expected, for reference, similar setup screen from Microstation (using localization)
