I don't understand why everybody assumes the H440 has inadequate airflow. Just because there aren't gaping holes to create a wind tunnel tornado for your system doesn't mean it had bad airflow. 

Compared to my previous Corsair 540, the H440's airflow is about 90% of that. On the low side.

Anyways, as for as the 450D and the H440 goes, I'd stick with my H440 because it's cleaner looking. But the 450D is pretty nice too.

It doesn't block anything. Unless you know something I dont.

Well I am sure you know there are open vents on the side. But there is a completely open, unrestricted clearance on the bottom to pull air in too.
