So this might be a bit of a stupid question but still...
So I have had my SSD for around 2 years. Recently I realized that I never checked the health on it and now that I did Im paranoid about it. 😄

So I checked with HWInfo first and I got a 87% but then using the official Western Digital program I got 63%.

So which one should I trust ?
When is it gonna be time to replace the drive without losing any data or ect. considering my OS and some information is on it?
Is there any way to decrease the writes overtime with any OS settings so life is extended ?
Thank you for answers in advance.

(I have a WD Green 240GB Drive by the way.)

Download crystal disk info and check on that. Depending on which is closer to that number you will get your answer.

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

Alright well that gave me exactly 63% just like the WD one.
So when should I be worried about it ?
63 doesn't seem that great atleast to me.

Can you post a screenshot of what crystal disk info says?

Holy. That’s a lot of reads and writes for 2 years. Did you buy the SSD new or used and do you only use it for windows or frequently dump files on and off it?

Bought it new from the store that I always buy PC parts from. My whole PC is basically from that store. 😄
Its mainly been Windows and the Browser file downloads really with 1 or 2 games on it. Thats it.

So Im assuming its not that great ?

I really don't understand why its so much data written and read off of the drive? Maybe a glitch or some kind of malware or data leak or something. Run malwarebytes and see if its picks up anything.

For reference here is my 1 year old drive:

Just ran it. Nothing.
I guess I might have to eventually buy a new SSD but still moving all my windows and important data on it is quite painful.
I sure hope this one doesn't die or something eventually soon.
