Hi,

in December 2020 I built my first PC. I had no major problems. Here are my specs:

-CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT

-GPU: EVGA NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super SC Ultra

-RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) 3600MHz

-Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B450-F

-Power Supply: Corsair RM650X Fully Modular (80+ Gold rated)

-Storage: Sabrent Rocket Q M.2 NVME PCIE GEN 3 SSD (1TB)

-Case: Fractal Design Meshify C White (non-tinted) Tempered Glass Edition

-CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO with 4 Pin PWM Fan

-Extra Case Fan: Noctua NF-P12 (three case fans in total, 2 front, 1 rear)

Recently, the PC has been randomly restarting. It's not because of temperatures (I always keep a very close eye on temps) , and I doubt that it is because of driver updates, because I get no notifications prior to it. It shouldn't be issues with my power supply, because it is overkill for my build. It happens regardless of whether is idle or under load. In Event Viewer it is Kernel-Power and ID 41. I have tried removing all overclocks including DOCP and this did not fix.

I am really worried by this, because I fear that it may case my SSD to corrupt and lose all my data.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, let me know if you need any more information.

Thanks,

Leek Soup

Besides like Ryzen Master or Geforce Experience you won't get notices of driver updates, there are still tons of drivers on the computer that may need to be updated. Have you checked for Windows and Bios updates as well? Is there anything you do that causes the blue screen more than anything else? Is it the same error codes everytime?

I can't think of anything else I'm doing that would cause it. I have disabled all overclocks, including DOCP. Yes, it is the same error codes.

Have you tried using a clean install of Windows to confirm that the issue is with your Windows install, and not your BIOS or hardware?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. It turns out the problem was being caused by the NZXT CAM software. Ever since I have stopped using it, I have not had a single shutdown. I tried using it again recently, and after about 15 minutes there was another shutdown. So that was the problem!
