  1. Will the current livestream be up on YouTube after it’s done?
  2. Thanks for the reply, I will incorporate these into the build.
  3. Hi, I am building a 1080p gaming PC for a friend, and I was just wondering if some of you could have a look over it just to make sure there aren’t any issues. 4. You could save some money by going with a different SSD, like the Sabrent Rocket Q 500GB. You won’t really notice the performance difference unless routinely transferring large files.
  5. I didn’t do this because the mac killed the power supply twice. I was just doing an online class on it, I heard a pop and the mac turned off. It also tripped the breaker for the socket it was plugged into. I took apart the mac, got the power supply repaired and then I reassembled the max. Worked fine for about 10 mins, then popped and died again. So I’m assuming there is something wrong with the motherboard that is killing the power supply. I could be wrong though, what do you think?
  6. Ok. Would you say that €35 is too much for a used low end H61 board?
  7. Hi, I have an old 2012 iMac with a dead power supply sitting in my attic, and I was wondering if I would be able to use its CPU (i5 3550S) in a windows PC? Like there isn’t anything in the CPU that would prevent me from putting it in a windows PC? Provided I get the right motherboard of course. Thanks.
  8. nope, there are 3 chassis fan headers on the board, one near the rear I/O shroud, and 2 more at the bottom among the front panel connectors and USB headers. The one near the I/O shroud is used by other exhaust fan.
  9. Thanks! That cable annoys me too, it’s going to the fan header on the motherboard from one of the exhaust fans. The cable was too short to go any other route, and it had to go there because the header that was closer was taken up by the other exhaust fan. You’re right about that EPS extension, I might put in another comb and cable tie to keep it tidy.
  10. My first gaming pc, built it a few months ago, just as the shortage was starting to hit full swing. I plan on upgrading to either an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT, whichever I can find at/near MSRP. Tips and criticism welcome.
