I'm confused about intel and amd right now. since my budget is somewhere from 4800 to 6500 malaysian ringgit (MYR) and these part are under 6500 so i don't really know which one is better i mean i mostly use my pc to watch korean dramas, download stuff, play games , some video rendering and maybe some simulation of circuits and programming . and video streaming. Is it worth it to get an i7 4770k compared to an amd fx8350 or as what I've googled most people said that its better to get fx8320 and a good cooler and overclock it to save money.

I'd probably go for build 2. You need a Z87 chipset though, or else the K sku CPU is pointless.

Don't bother with an SSHD if you already have an SSD, just get a regular mechanical drive.

If by video streaming you meant streaming to your PC (i.e. Netflix, youtube) and not streaming from your PC (twitch) then I would go for the 8350 or 8320 and OC, but with a different motherboard instead.

- I would compare the 4670k and the 8350, but in multi-threaded apps the 8350 may pull ahead but in single-threaded things intel is the clear winner. If you really have the money and don't care go intel.

Depends on budget in the end

So it means that 4770k is a clear winner is the difference worth it or is it better for me to just get an intel 4670k instead of 4770k?

hmm z87 ok thx. Ahh. so i guess its better to just settle with a ssd and a normal mechanical drive? thx . i thought sshd would also improve my application performance too.

If you are spending that much, go Intel, unless you want to save some money, in which case get a 8320 and Gigabyte UD3

Amd processor draw more power right compared to intel ?so won't it be spending more on electrical bills?

if its just gaming no it really wouldnt

huh?

I would go i5 unless you plan on doing some serious editing in game there is really no difference

"Will it be a major difference?"

no it would not be a majot difference if its mostly for gaming. yes the 4770k is better than the 8350 in vdeo rendering and other professional case uses but if its casual video editing and stuff its not a big deal. taht being said a 4770k wouldnt hurt :P

from what

NoireMk2

said 4670k is more than enough . maybe i can squeeze in a better motherboard with that extra money .

for just gaming yea its enough for NOW. who knows what the future holds. i dont know man, a higher end motherboard wouldnt really do anything

hmm. maybe better cooling haha.. better oc maybe? better durability?

as long as its decently high end they pretty much perform the same and have the same quality

for better temps and cooling a better CPU cooler would do alot more. but tis up to you

If I were you, I would get a Corsair H100i instead of the Coolermaster Seidon. I think it's a little cheaper and performs just as well, if not better.
