It would be a pretty significant amount of work to add, because none of the required infrastructure exists yet. Very large PMs are the exception rather than the rule, so I don't think it makes sense to prioritise this, sorry.

So I know you get DM notification but I'm in a big DM and if someone @ me in that DM I won't notice is there any way to like indicate that you got @ on top of the unread mark
