I would say 850W quality power supply. I would think you'd be cutting it to close and would likely reduce lifespan of the PSU using a 750W.

My rough math:

GPU's: 230W x 2 = 480W + Overclocking So let's say 520W to heir on side of caution.

CPU: 77W + OC (Give or take) = 100W

Motherboard + Extras = 150W -Give or take, with peak on HDD's and spin-up

That's  760W Roughly.

In the motherboard + extras includes any peripherals, and anything you could ever want to plug into your computer. Just being conservative, better to get a little higher than cutting the line.

Any good quality 80+ something thats 750w or higher should do the job. Make sure its a reputable brand and has enough on the 12v rail though :) To be safe maybe go a bit higher tho. AX860i like Nick above me said would be more than enough :)

Minimum is a solid 600-650w psu. It's probably cheaper to just get a decent 750w though.

Thanks for the info.  I was thinking about the Corsair RM850

Overkill. The rm650 would already do and most people would recommend getting the rm750 for headroom.

Edit: Just noticed.. why do you have a 3570k only at 4.1 ghz with a Kraken x60? You should get at the very least ~4.5 ghz if not more with that much cooling and a sabertooth.

I was able to get it to 4.4 ghz stable.  I lowered the clock a little bit because the environment has been warm.  My apartment has poor ventilation and my wife gets mad when I open the windows in the winter.  I'm new to OC'ing so I just figured I'd lower it a little bit.

Please don't spam topics like these.

What makes a PSU SLI ready.  I notice some PSU's advertise that.

Having enough watts to support more than one GPU xD. Please use one of the links I provided in the future when calculating PSU wattage.
