CCNA tips

SOUTHwarrior

Im going to take my CCNA here soon and I was wondering if anybody has taken the new 200-120 CCNA routing and switching cert test yet. If so what was the main areas of questions you had, and what do you think I should brush up on before I go take it. Ive already been focusing mainly on routing, routing tables, nat/pat, ospf, eigrp, static routes, troubleshooting all those, and PPP with chap and pap authentication.

I'm afraid I can't offer too many tips specific to the newer exams as I obtained my CCNA via the 640-802 exam just before the switchover.

However, if the new combination exam is anything like the old one I'd add to that list ACLs, VLANs and other switching tech like Spanning Tree & VTP.

Please don't take that as gospel as I've not looked at the newer exams, perhaps check out the objectives listed on Cisco's certification site?

Are you studying using the official cert guide?

And good luck!
