Monitor Stopped Working out of the Blue

CopiWasTaken

Hi everyone, I own a Sceptre C24 https://www.amazon.com/Sceptre-Edge-Less-FreeSync-DisplayPort-C248B-144RN/dp/B07MTMCNLX/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=sceptre+c24&qid=1615704356&sr=8-2 and it one day out of the blue started going black some of the time and the screen would have grey flickering. It was ok at first, and I ignored it, but it seems to have gotten worse. I keep the monitor in very good condition, and I've owned it for about 8 months. The cable is in extremely good condition, but I can't test another cable or plug since I don't have an HDMI to Thunderbolt or another DP to Thunderbolt cable. My OS is Windows 1909 18363.1440 64 bit. I've troubleshooted at a basic level, but to no avail. Is my monitor fixable or is that all that money down the drain. (I am a minor so I can't really just pull out the money to buy another one). Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary, and it just randomly started doing that one morning. Help would be greatly appreciated as using my laptop monitor is less nice, and it also slows down my potato of a thermal throttling computer even more.

Laptop: HP Spectre x360 13t, i7 8565u with 16 gigs, 512 gig  nvme ssd, UHD 620 4k

Other laptop: Acer Chromebook cb3 431 with 4 gigs, celeron n3060 with hd 400 and 16 gigs eMMC soon to be a minecraft server?
