I believe there is an ASUS GPU that I recall seeing recently, and it had a 4pin/3pin fan header for case fans, which would allow the card to control a case fan.

Is this going to become a common thing, or was this just on one specific card? I was absolutely LOVE to have this, since I have one case fan that basically blasts my CPU cooler, and the other that blasts my GPU, and my poor GPU dies when my CPU is idle, but the GPU is loaded up.

It was the ASUS Strix LC 6800 XT, as it came with a 240mm AIO attached and it let you connect the fans for the AIO to the GPU instead of to the motherboard.

It will likely only be a thing with GPUs with AIOs become more popular.

Dang. I was hoping to see this on aircooled cards as well.

Thanks for the name/model of the card, I actually thought it was a 3080, but... Yeah. I'd buy a given card over another of the same type just if one had a header on it and the other didn't.

Pretty sure most or all of the Strix cards come with these, I remember them being on the 1080ti's.

Dang. I kinda wish I didn't hate ASUS so much... At least the cards are short enough to fit my case... Maybe I'll need to consider one. Though, I may be going full watercooling for this, I'm not sure if the case can handle the heat load of a 6800XT and a 5950X. XD
