I want to build a pc my budget is $1500 CAD

Quested

hey I am a building PC, as mentioned before I have a budget of $1500 CAD. This is what I chose. Any suggestions are appreciated

parts: https://newegg.io/e1d09ef

Case: https://www.newegg.ca/p/2AM-000Z-00069?Item=2AM-000Z-00069

As you may notice this does not have a gpu. I bought a 1080ti of ebay for $200 CAD. I am a bit worried about the quality of the card but the seller had positive reviews and the condition was used he also had like 80 of them. If anyone knows why there so cheap or any way to know there real please tell me.

The 1080ti most likely came from a mining operation, so VERY well used.

@Zvny Please do not ask questions in other people's threads.

Please make a new one using this link:

https://linustechtips.com/forum/18-new-builds-and-planning/?do=add

While you're making a new thread, please fill all the other requirements, like adding a budget, what you're going to use it for, etc.

I'd be happy to give you advice in that thread, and make edits to your build.

Switched the board. B550 will be best for future upgrades later on.

Switched RAM. The kit you had was 3600 CL18, while this one is 3600 CL16.

Storage is the same.

Switched casing.

Switched PSU to a fully modular gold certified one. I'd advise to not cheap out on your PSU, as there is a possibility it can blow up, taking your PC along with it. Keep this in mind.
