Installing a driver for network adapter

Hi I’m new to this.

 I cannot connect to the internet as this fresh windows 10 install does not have any drivers. I just finished building with a fresh install of windows 10.

 

I do not have an optical drive or other pc to download it from a usb. I have a wifi motherboard and Ethernet cable plugged but without drivers it doesn’t matter  Can I buy a usb online with the drives on it?

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Got any friends who will download the drivers for you to a USB stick?

Since you are online and posting to an internet forum (phone?) you should be able to download the drivers. Then use e.g. a USB cable to transfer the download from your phone to the PC.

Oh that’s great! 
Where would I find the drivers online? What cable do I need to transfer from the iPhone 8?

You didn't really mention what network adapter you have. But typically on their website. For example if it's a NIC integrated on the motherboard, search for the motherboard model on Google, that should lead you to the download. You can also post the model and we can look it up for you.

 

Hm, iPhone. You'd need a lightning to USB cable for that, but I'm not sure you can transfer files to Windows without something like iTunes installed which you'd have to download first so… that's kind of a chicken-egg problem

 

I guess using a USB drive and downloading on someone else's computer as @Radium_Angel suggested is probably easiest.

I have a rig strix B550-F WiFi motherboard. I found a site but not anywhere to download drivers

Here: https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b550-f-gaming-wi-fi-model/helpdesk_download

Select Windows 10 as the OS and you should find the drivers under "Wireless"
