Windows 10 Working Without Key?

Um, my little brother built a PC, and he just had to download Windows 10 and log into the account I made for him a little while ago. I made the account on my PC with Windows activated, is this normal? It still shows the 'Activate Windows' watermark in the bottom right, but all the programs are working. The only problem is that the mic sound peaks at 2% on an mic he uses.

He still need a license for his PC. You might want to install sound drivers manually.

I can try that, but he doesn't like me on his PC (don't want to spend the time :) ). I'll tell him.

Also, his PC is working and he can play games and do whatever he wants on it, like mine.

The reason to activate is to remove the watermark and change some things like the wallpaper.

You CAN use windows without activating. I'd recommend getting a license though.

Yeah, that's normal. The only big difference between the un-registered and registered version is that it lacks customisation options and there is a water-mark on the bottom right. As far as I know, you can use it indefinitely.

That doesn't change things. Being able to run Windows without activation is evaluation. Continuing on it as daily drive is pretty much same as pirating it.
