Can someone recommend me a super quiet replacement fan for the Evo 212?

Kawaii Koneko

Yeah, the fan that came on my Evo 212 has decided it wants to throw tantrums and is now too loud for my case. Can anyone recommend a good 4pin static replacement that is nice and quiet?

Preferably something I can get through Prime?

In terms of heatsink/airflow performance, the F12 is a good choice but it's hard to beat the Noctua NF-A12x25. For the noise-to-airflow ratio and static pressure they're pretty much the gold standard

Thanks. This is what I ended up going with.

Seems like a pretty good pairing with my Pure Wings 2 case fans. Everything is pretty quiet now.

I would have went with this but that brown color... Lol.

They're coming out with a black variant of the A12x25 later this year, keep eyes out 😉

scythe kaze flex, not many use this gem of a fan, they preform comparably to most Noctua's fans but cost less.

They aren't bad at static pressure. I have 3 running at 800-1000rpm on a 60mm thick rad coolling a OCd x58 system with 2 780 ti's I'm sure one can do just fine on a 212.

on paper specs for fans are hardy ever spot on, everyone test fans differently and has different testing tolerances.

if he has the money to spend maybe can invest to something greater, kaze flex is not very well known but they have great reviews.

That is the sad part about scythe, now a days outside japan at lest they aren't use all to much. A lot of good products from scythe go unnoticed. but TBH if he had the money he'd replace the whole cooler, the 212 is good, but there are far better coolers out there.
