So today I decided to swap my c: drive to my m.2, I copied it over with no problems at all. I then take out my ssd after turning off my pc and then plugged everything back in. To my surprise nothing showed up on the screen and I got a red light on the cpu debug led. My cpu worked fine beforehand. I have reset the cmos, reseated every component in my pc and even cleaned the thermal paste off my cpu and tried again. I did notice a little bit of thermal paste on my mobo over some pins after I tried booting it a couple times but it was fresh and had come about when I first tried resetting my cpu.

You likely have to install windows fresh on the m.2 drive and copy the important files you want to keep from the other drive after installation.
