Hey everyone. I am looking to downsize my build to take up less space. I currently have a 3900X in a MSI X570 Ace. Everything is in a O11 Dynamic XL. I am looking at going to a mini ITX board and sff chassis. I am looking for recommendations on a good sff case and information on whether doing this swap without wiping and re-installing windows is going to be relatively easy. I have a Corsair SF750 power supply in hand and a 2080Ti EVGA 3 slot gpu. My case budget is 500CAD.

How small of a case are you hoping for?

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

500 cad will buy you any case you want. I am tempted to recommend the h1, but it only holds 2 slot gpu’s (I think) and might burn your house down. After doing some digging, I discovered the Silverstone Sugo 15 can hold 3 slot cards. Maybe that would be a good option, though it is on the cheap side.

My primary system: Core I7 10700k, 32 gb Trident Z RGB ram@3200mhz, EVGA GTX 970 SSC (will upgrade), NZXT N7 Z490 motherboard (Black), Samsung 970 Evo plus 1TB SSD, NZXT C850 PSU, Hyper 212 EVO cooler (getting new water cooler soon), NZXT H510i case.

My secondary system: Core I7 4820k, 16 gb quad channel 1600mhz ram, GTX 780 reference, Asus PX79LE, SK Hynix GOLD s31 500gb SSD, some 10 yr old Cooler Master 750w psu, Hyper 212, old Cooler Master case.

Laptop: Lenovo l380 yoga I5 8250u, 8gb ram, 256gb ssd storage)

I'd highly recommend a ssupd meshlicious with a mesh side panel replacement (one side is tempered glass, the other is mesh). However it's a pretty new product and might not be available for purchase, at least at a reasonable price to you currently. For the Motherboard I'd recommend something like a Gigabyte B550i Aorus Pro. What CPU cooler do you have? This case supports up to a 280mm aio, but you won't really be able to fit a chonky air cooler in there.

Notes: This is a very open ~15 liter case, so it's reasonably small but not tiny. The case doesn't have much in the way of cable management, and it's not going to be much of a showpiece. Your components are not likely going to look their best in this case, and you'll still be able to (somewhat) see them. Kind of the tradeoff for most ITX cases, however.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

There is the one Lian li spinning company that has the meahlicious, it has up to 4 slot gpu support.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

CPU cooler will be purchased based on the case. I will also be measuring and purchasing custom cables for this

Mini ITX less than 20 L. Preferably less than 15.

I've really enjoyed the RVZ03 that I have. It's Silverstone. You could also look at the SG13 by them.
