I recently got this card and I've been having issues running basically anything with it? Vr just struggles to run anything higher than normal at like 60% of norm resolution if I'm lucky. Playing any type of game the fans instantly ramp up to extreme volumes and I'm getting barely any better quality than my previous 1050ti. If anyone knows anything I could be doing wrong? Or of someone knows a waterblock that fits on this gpu so I can make a custom loop that would be amazing!!

Build:

Asus x470-pro mb

Ryzen 7 2700x 4ghz

Corsair Vengeance LPX Black DDR4-RAM 3600 MHz 2x 16 GB - CMK32GX4M2D3600C18

An m.2 for boot and drivers and another m.2 for vr games only then two hard drives for other games

850w corsair psu

And this rtx 2060 oc20210307_175114.thumb.jpg.cf14542822f2f5569dd5803165fd52a6.jpg

What are your temps like? I doubt that you would need a water block for that and probably are having other problems.

Maybe start with ddu and install the newest driver from the nvidia site.

Starts hitting 50s before any major loads starts getting up to the 70s and 80s under load and the fans are just stupidly loud. Have re downloaded all drivers possible. Have also redone all thermal pastes on the card. Was hoping this would be a jump from my 1050ti but getting only slight improvements here and there. Have done all updates for drivers, double checked everything is sitting properly I the system. Just, want a decent system outa this cause it should be doing way better than this.

Not sure about the fans and heatsink solution on that card. My founders edition got into the 80s.

It is a much better preforming card when working correctly.

Might want to check the thermal paste application that the contact is good and you didn't miss any pads. Also ensure the card is in the top slot for x16.

You can try a benchmark and compare online to see if the card is okay or not.

Sorry for the late reply, I've re done all the thermal paste and pads and I'm still getting silly high temperatures in the high 80s and it starts throttling back. Comparing it to others its about average when not overclocked, after overclocking it gets slightly better but throttles back quicker due to the heat. The fans are still stupidly loud and getting annoying. Been trying to look for a block for it but no luck. Don't suppose you'd know one that would have the closest fit to this card? https://m.aliexpress.com/i/4000714057190.html

I found this, you think it would fit?
