You just need to clear the data and delete any partitions on the old drives and you're good to go

There is software that can migrate a drive to another unit. However, you need to have a running system with both drives installed. If the new o/s unit is m.2 NVMe and your existing system does not support it, you may have to build the new system from scratch.

Check the support pages of the drive as the manufacturer may provide software to clone to the new drive. Otherwise an internet search will turn up many instructional pages.

If you decide to install new keeping the data on other drives is not a problem. However if you have installed games or other programs on another drive then you may need to do some extra work, depending on the software. Some of this work may have to be done before switching to the new drive. (You may have to reinstall programs run from another drive.)

Just what I said. I will not guess at how you installed your software. If you use Steam, check it's support pages for guidance.
