I have a Zotac Amp Holo 3070. My driver's are up to date and I will check bios right now

I did a quick search of Zotac 30 series card on google, it looks like with MSI afterburner lots of people encounter some issues with their fans while try to custom curve, and some of them even stop running.

Base on my own experience, Zotac is not the best in term of quality, my GTX580 got burn out just a few months after building a new system. The quality and the material that Zotac is not intended for OC and therefore I would not be surprised if it does not support MSI Afterburner, or its just the simple quality control issue with the card itself. But a 3070 is a 3070, so look on the bright side, try with Zotac’s Fire Storm, and hopefully it works. And your best bet is to uninstall MSI Afterburner before you install Fire Storm. Cheers!

That's good it's probably afterburner acting strange. Try re downloading it or try this https://www.evga.com/precisionx1/

I tried the evga one, and it didn't even let me change the fan curve. So I uninstalled afterburner and reinstalled it and I don't think it's working 😕

Hi SquiddyButler:

Base on your discripition your best bet is to provide your Graphic card model number, your driver, bios to see if its all up to date. If they are you can search for your model to see if others are having the same issue.

Yeah I'm getting firestorm back, the cards now turn on around 55 but don't turn off until around 40. Is this normal? And thanks for the help!

I wouldn't say its normal, but as long as its not the other way around there is nothing you can do about it, unelss you are willing to return it ?🤣

No,as long as when the temp increases the fan speeds up you are fine. Custom curve is intended to reduce noise, other than that everything will be fine. If it really bothers you try to resit the card.If that is not working, try to do a clean installation of windows and only install the drivers and firestorm, maybe it will be fixed. Good Luck
