NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 CD

Bagerian

Hi,

Lenovo sells their IdeaCentre lineup PCs with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 CD - and I am just curious what does 'CD' stand for in the name of this card? Is this card in anyway different from regular NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060?

My guess would be "Custom Design".

OEMs like Dell, HP and Lenovo ofter use their own custom cut-down designs for cost saving reasons.

Just like they often engineer their own motherboards because it's cheaper for them than just using off-the-shelf components.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

The RTX 2060 CD is a custom and overclocked version and it gets outstanding performance compared to the standard Nvidia RTX 2060 in benchmarks like UserBenchMark
