Watch this.

It is likely that it will work with a few tweaks. But it might cause issues. You're better off selling your current RAM and buying a new kit.

Also... You really should've made your own thread instead of randomly posting in a random thread.

You should really post this in the  CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory section. But to answer your question, does your motherboard support ram overclocking? You may be able to get to 3000mhz with your current ram. 

 

Also if it's Intel I wouldn't bother. You won't see much improvement. Even with AMD, the boost from 2666 to 3000 will be marginal
