Key Switch Cleaning With Alcohol?

I saw a video saying that you could fix a key with double inputs by putting 90% isopropyl alcohol on it and letting it dry. I want to try this but I only have 70% alcohol. Is that ok?

i suppose it could work, but alcohol won't make the problem/filth go away. it will only move it to a different location within the switch.

The same applies to any lube in the switch, if you clean it with alcohol you probably want to re-lube it.
