if your just playing at 1440p just go with a 10400f or 3600. Or go with a 5600x or 10600k if you need the extra 4 fps

386usd for a 10700k is alot.
Having chrome and a game open isnt taxing at all. You can do that with almost any modern cpu
Streaming nopwadays is GPU dependent if you use the NVENC encoder (which you should, you lose less performance and its about the same quality)

Just go with a midrange CPU, you are playing at 1440p, there will be almost no performance difference between a 10400f and a 10700k at 1440p.

Now if you REALLY need 8 cores (which it seems like you dont) then i'd go with the 3700x. its cheaper than the 10700k and is faster than both the 3600 and 10400f

the 10700k isnt really worth it

the 3700x is 509 aud here sadly, and would love to have 8 cores and the 10700k is 500 here

well the motherboards for the 3700x is cheaper, and you dont need an expensive cooler.

overall the 3700x is cheaper

decent 3700x combo -

You could also go with a B series board, but that would limit overclocking capabilities, and your RAM speed would be limited
