Will this be okay for a sleeved extension kit?

Tech Reprise

I recently bought extension kits from Cooler Master and in the back of my case the connectors are touching the right metal side panel. Will this be alright? Hope it doesnt cause any shorts.

Also the cables are tightly attached and have clips to lock them in place so I guess they won't snap out of place.

My PSU is a Antec EAG Gold 750W, cables are 16awg extensions from Cooler Master

The connectors are plastic and routinely touch all sorts of parts of a case or other components.  No worries there.

16g?  That's a relief to see!  I get sick of seeing all of the crappy 18g extensions out there.

16awg as per coolermaster. Don't know if thats a marketing gimmick or not but package says 16Awg.

Mine is a bit different and not listed online

Here is the backside btw. Cables are well tucked in their blankets 😛 And stress testing for an hour didn't start a fire. So I guess I connected everything properly apart from cracking one of the combs ☹️

I don't think a company like Cooler Master is going to SAY 16g then USE 18g.  That's more like something some shifty Chinese company would do.  Cooler Master is more honorable Taiwan company.  😄

I have zip-ties with me but I have become wayy too lazy after my recovery from Pneumonia to redo the cable work. Maybe will do it in future.

For now if the backside doesn't pose a possible fire hazard I think I should keep it as it is considering the insides look okay.
