Acer Nitro 5, headset not working.

So my headset mic doesnt work when i plug it in my Acer Nitro 5 ive tried to plug it into another pc and it works but not on my pc 

 

ive tried to search online for the problem and i always run into issues 

like 

- Cant access Realtek Audio console 

- cant access The Audio manager through files

 

Pls i need the help

What is your plug configuration?  1 or 2 plugs?

 

I'm going to guess that your laptop takes one where as your desktop takes two

my headset has 1 plug and 3 rings (or 4 pins or whatever its called)
