What GPU should i get?

prxtty
So after having an i5 4590, evga gtx 960 4gb ssc and 16 gb of ddr3 ram for a long time. it's about time for me to upgrade.
I'm thinking about getting a totally new pc with these specs below. The only thing that I'm not really sure about is which GPU I should get.
I was thinking about getting the rx 580 but that's almost a 4-year-old card and I want something a bit more recent that isn't too expensive.
I'm opened to any form of suggestions.
Thanks!

Good luck getting your hands on something, the market is messed up right now. I suggest you should hold on to your GTX 960 until there is something you can buy from a store for a reasonable price.

When you can, RTX 3060 or 3060 Ti, or RX 5700 and 5700XT if their prices ever go back to normal.

Or if you go used, GTX 1070 Ti, 1080 or 1080 Ti when their prices go back down.

All depends on price. Currently, miners need more than 4Gb of vram for mining, so RX 580 4Gb is not impacted by the rush. I just recently purchased one super cheap for placeholder, and plan to sell it when crypto market crashes and 2nd hand market is flooded with cheap 30 series. Actually gets the job done very well on 1080p.
