I have around £200. I could either upgrade the case and motherboard for aesthetics and also so I can upgrade cpu in future. Or I could save up and get the 3060/ti when it comes out/ is back in stock.
I currently have a 3200G at Base Clock of 3.6ghz with an a320 s2h (bought it bc it was cheap for my first build a few years ago. Don’t roast me 😞 ). For a graphics card I have a 1650 msi OC edition.
when playing games I run at around 80/85%+ cpu and 40% gpu.

I also can’t stream using Obs or Streamlabs because it makes my game feel like crap.
If I upgrade mobo and Case then the next would be the cpu. I’d upgrade to a 3600

mobo, the 3060 ti is never gonna come back stock until next fall or later, so i say get some b450 or b350 board, (yes the b350 board does handle 3th gen ryzen) and then just get some 3 or 2nd gen ryzen

Whilst the board isn't great it will handle a 3600 without a hitch.

why not grab something like a Ryzen 7 2700X off ebay for about £150 and maybe a new AIO CPU Cooler to go with it?
How much RAM have you got?

Rlly

whys it so much cheaper the

the b450 strix doesnt have a good vrm. The strix is more expensive due to the look of it and its an ATX board. prob other factors but just get a B450 PRO4 and call it a day. Or get a B550-A-PRO if you are willing to spend $120 on a baord.

geometry is hard
b550 > x570

I thought about it but wasn’t sure about eBay. I’m saving for an aio as well (or at least it’s on the list). The stock amd coolers have done fine for me so far as I haven’t gone into any over clocking.  I have 16gb ram Corsair vengeance I think.

the strix b450 isnt very good. just get a b450m pro

It actually is totally fine if you're not going to overclock with it. The Strix B450 actually is even in the top 10 most sold Ryzen motherboards and some people even prefer it over the B550 one. The VRM's are not the best, but it's a great board for the price, just don't expect the best I/O, best VRM's and ton of RGB.
