Just got an EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra and I've had issues with the display flickering on all monitors multiple times when waking from sleep and starting any fullscreen application. Is this an issue with gsync, current NV drivers, a dying monitor, power delivery, or is my card basically DOA? All drivers are up to date including the BIOS on my soon to be replaced mobo and cpu.

Games run perfectly fine, CPU and GPU run at stable temps, and I've tried unplugging and testing my monitors individually, and all flicker as stated above. I didn't have this issue on my 5700xt, but haven't went back to test and see if I could replicate it. Any help would be great.

i had that happened to one of my monitors. but it was on a 2070 graphic card. one of my monitors was dying. but check the cables first making sure they are good. i run 2 monitors 1080p my main runs 1440 monitor. i dont know if this helps you out. but i say look at cables first or one of your monitors might be dying.

Could be. The top two statements tend to contradict one another.

Yeah that's what I had thought, but I'm not sure if all three cables would be bad, as I just replaced two of when I bought the card. Definitely something I'm considering.

Yeah, its mostly why I'm stumped. I've never had to deal with an issue like this so my knowledge base on it is pretty small. Everything works mostly fine barring the black screens.

My monitor on my older system every once in a while blips black for 2-3 seconds and I get an interface symbol when the screen comes back. I get the impression it's almost shifting from analogue to digital, or something. It would be a PITA, but for the fact it happens about 6 times a year, and I don't do any gaming on it. 🙂
