Minecraft lag, stutter?

Hello everyone.

 

When playing Minecraft (Moonquest modpack with the technic launcher) the game isn't smooth... I get 100fps+ but stil each second or half a second it's a lag spike.... 

I have a GTX770 and a I7 4770K.

Try opitfine,there is a multicore version which may help.

 

I think optifine is in the moonquest modpack?

How much RAM do you have? Having alot of RAM can be very beneficial for Minecraft.

Not really, I had 2GB of ram on an older computer and took out 1gb and Minecraft ran the same

Try increasing the amount of memory dedicated to minecraft.

I Have 3GB ram assignes to it.
