1080 Ti or 1660 super?

AmateurHermit

Recently found a used 1080 Ti for $450 CAN/$356 USD, and a new 1660 SUPER for $400 CAN/$317 USD. What's the better price and GPU? Bigger bang for buck?

The 1080ti, most generally. Depends on what you're doing, though.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

1080 super is miles better, although the 1660 has some upgrades but neither has the RTX features?

the TI version of the 1080 is close to an 2060/2080, just that it can lack in some areas compared to those newer cards but with a lot of power.

It's like comparing BMW with like hmm Renault for racing.

Ofc 1080 Ti is a lot faster,for just 50 $ difference.

Be sure to get one which has good cooling since I assume that card heats a lot compared to 1660 super which is stone cold 😉

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.
