website layout broken

Go to solution Solved by colonel_mortis,

This seems to be a bug in how Chrome handles flexboxes. Hopefully it will be fixed before this makes it into a more stable channel - it looks like there's already a chrome bug report about it.

Browser, version and OS:

Google Chrome Dev, version 90.0.4421.5

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

I simply launched the website

What happened?

forum posts are being hidden behind the right hand side elements (like recent topics, recent LMG uploads, etc), and the error happens no matter the size of the window (tried fullscreen too)

What did you expect to happen?

the site eto not break?

Any other relevant details:

Can't reproduce this on Firefox (gecko rendering engine) or Edge (chromium). I'd pin this one on Chrome Dev version slipping up. Can you reproduce it in other browsers?

My profile picure is real. That's what I look like in real life. I'm actually a blue and white African Wild Dog.

tried in tor browser and edge (chromium) and couldn't reproduce issue, must be the chrome version messing up the rendering.

If this happens again, please link to thread. This is known issue with wrapping long lines and could be something in either post or signature.

Not sure if its related but I sometimes get a similar issue on Firefox. When I open the notification tray (the bell) and then try to scroll through my notification list the page behind scrolls instead.
